30 Year Old Rosies Cask

by Roslin

(Rosie’s Cask) This release was very special indeed and as such had to be released as a very special package. This single cask, number 1991 of 1991, was bought by Colin when filled and laid down in Rosie’s name. Thus it became known as “Rosie’s Cask”. The cask matured for 30 years prior to bottling with Rosie paying the warehouse rent each year!

We chose a beautiful Glencairn bottle for this one which was both engraved and infilled in copper on the glass and came with a stunning copper bottle collar and stopper. The collar was engraved Rosie’s Cask and individually numbered on the back from a total of 142 bottles that were produced. The stopper was finished with our Highland Cow in cask end logo, also engraved.

This release also featured an all-new white bottle carton produced specifically for this product and as a stunning contrast to our black and grey with copper labels and cartons of our first two 15-year-old products. This product has also gone on to sell out completely with demand from all over the world and was featured within the tastings section of “Whisky Magazine” issue 184, where it received ratings of 8.3 and 8.7 and marked with a Whisky Magazine Recommendation.

At 48% proof this is one of our favourite bottles. An amazing gift or just to enjoy!
